Ingredients of Moi moi with egg sauce
- Prepare 3 cups of Beans.
- Prepare of Scot bonnet, onions and tattashe.
- You need of Salt, onga curry & maggi.
- You need of Oil.
- It's 2 of Eggs.
Moi-moi or Moin-Moin is one of the most popular dishes in Nigeria. It's made from pureed beans and served primarily as an accompaniment to breakfast porridge. Moi moi with egg sauce step by step
- Soak the beans in water for 20 mins & pound using a mortar.
- Wash & rinse with clean water.
- Soak the beans again for about 5 mins, remove the water & add Scot bonnet, onion & tatashe, blend it well.
- Add maggi, salt, onga, curry & oil. Mix it well and put inside a leather & tie it well. Put your water on fire & add ur moi moi into it. Allow it to cook for some minutes.
- For the sauce, put ur oil on fire & add sliced onion, grated Scot bonnet, maggi & curry. Beat ur eggs, pour it all over & stir fry for some minutes..
- Once the sauce is ready, u can serve with ur moimoi.
