- Heat a pan.Add 150 grams peanuts(mungfali)..
- Roast it for 7-8 minutes on low flame.until skin becomes little black and crack will come..
- Let it cool for 5 mins. Take some peanuts to the palms press it to remove the skin of peanuts..
- Blow off skin of the peanuts or you can use readymade roasted peanuts..
- Take a potato masher or roll pin(Belan) with help of it split peanuts..
- Heat a pan. Add 1 tablespoon ghee. Now add 250 grams jaggery..
- Add 2 tablespoons of water. In the starting, you can keep the flame. once bubbles start coming. keep the flame low. Keep stirring..
- To check whether chasni(syrup) is ready or not. Take some water in a bowl. Drop the few drops of chasni(syrup) in the water if it gets hard it means the syrup(chasni) is ready..
- Now add roasted and split peanuts in the syrup. Mix it well..
- Grease back side of thali or tray with some ghee/oil..
- Now spread hot mixture on the thali. Spread it evenly. With the help of a rolling pin or flat spoon make it flat surface of the mixture..
- Cut into strips when the mixture is a little hot. Don't allow cool completely..
- Let it cool for 5 to 10 mins. Take out chikki with help of knife. Our crunchy and delicious peanuts chikki are ready to serve..
