  1. Wash and soak chanadal in water for 30 minutes.In a pressure cooker take milk add chana dal and pressure cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.Take out from pressure cooker and mash till smooth..
  2. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed kadahi.Add cardemom and cloves,reduce flame.Add chana dal and stir well.Cook on low flame and frequently stir to avoid burning of chanadal..
  3. Cook for 10 minutes or till ghee separates.Add khoya,and pinenut paste.Stir.cook for 2-3 minutes..
  4. Add sugar,mix well.Further cook on medium -low flame for 10 minutes or till consistency of halwa is thick and ghee separates.Add chopped dry fruits..
