Ingredients of Vegetables biryani
- You need 2 cups of rice.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of oil.
- You need 1 tbsp of ghee.
- You need 3 of bay leaves.
- It's 1 of sliced onions.
- It's 2-3 of Green Chillies (Slited).
- You need 2 of tomatoes chopped.
- It's 3 tsp of Biryani masala powder.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- It's 1 of Carrot chopped.
- You need 1/2 cup of Cauliflower florets.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Green peas.
- You need 1 tsp of Sugar.
- You need as needed of Water.
- It's of Grind.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of Dhaniya(Coriander leaves).
- It's 2 tsp of Garlic.
- You need 2 tsp of Ginger.
Long grain basmati rice and assorted vegetables in a spicy masala are cooked in alternate layers under dum to give you a final. Vegetable Biryani is a rich and exotic rice dish with spicy vegetables. Vegetables biryani step by step
- Wash and soaked the rice for 20 or 30 mins..
- Take dhaniya ginger and garlic paste for grinding to smooth paste..
- Heat 1 tblsp oil and 1tblsp+ 1 tblsp or 2 tblsp ghee in a pressure cooker.
- Now add bay leaf and fry 30 sec or 1/2 hr.
- Add sliced onions fry till onion is brown colour.
- Add chillies and dhaniya garlic ginger paste which we are grind in mixer this paste we put in onion fry..
- Saute for 2 or 3mins and smell will go outside..
- Add tomatoes cook for 2 mins or 3 mins..
- Now add biryani masala with salt and mix it..
- Add all veggies and toss well in masala..
- Now add rice which we washed and soaked and drained it..
- Mix well. Pour the water in rice and add sugar for taste..
- Taste and adjust for seasoning.
- Boil it in simmer and pressure cook in 4 to 5 whistles..
- Turn off the heat and cold it when it cold then open the pressure cooker lid..
- And serve it..
