Ingredients of Grandma’s Spaghetti

  1. It's of ground beef/pork.
  2. You need of onion; chopped.
  3. Prepare of garlic cloves; minced.
  4. It's of tomato; diced (optional).
  5. It's of spaghetti sauce.
  6. It's of banana ketchup.
  7. You need of mang tomas all-purpose sauce.
  8. You need of bay leaves.
  9. Prepare of grated carrot (optional).
  10. You need of sprigs of rosemary (optional).
  11. It's of leaves of basil (optional).
  12. It's of cooked spaghetti.
  13. You need of Shredded cheese.

Grandma’s Spaghetti instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients..
  2. Sauté the onions, garlic, and tomato until translucent..
  3. Add in the ground pork/beef and sauté until no longer pink..
  4. Pour in your favorite spaghetti sauces. I used 1 and a half of these jars! Whatever floats your boat..
  5. Chop half a sprig of rosemary leaves and add that in there, along with a whole sprig to infuse the sauce. + 2 bay leaves, or 4 if they’re small..
  6. The basil and grated carrot are optional. They were in my fridge. #whynot.
  7. Pour in the not-so-secret sauces: banana ketchup and mang tomas. No additional sugar needed!.
  8. Simmer for as little as 15mins and/or up to 1hr. Top w cheese and enjoy!.
